Opportunity description
Disney is offering an internship opportunity as a Project Design Coordinator will work within the team responsible for achieving and maintaining creative vision and for ensuring implementation of that vision through the project life cycles. The intern must be able to guide and articulate the concepts and experiences that define the creative vision and to motivate the team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist leading Producer with implementing Creative Deliverables
- Assemble creative presentation materials – print and digital
- Provide research materials relative to historical content, artwork, imagery, etc.
- Coordinate outside media requests and special projects
- Document brainstorming and creative development sessions and distribute notes
- Set up and catalog Creative Deliverable files
Basic Qualifications:
- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PhotoShop, and the Internet
- Experience with scope, schedule and budget planning, and mitigation
- Knowledge of creative process and deliverables within Media Production technologies and pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed an internship within the entertainment industry
- Course work in theater or media related
Required Education:
Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher, or must have graduated from an accredited college/university within the past 6 months, earning a degree in theater, film, design, entertainment or a closely related field
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the Disney internship program
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must provide full work availability
- Must provide own transportation to/from work location
- Must be able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship
