Souq Fann is looking to hire a creative Digital Marketing Officer to work full time within their headquarters in Amman, Jordan.
Primary Responsibilities:
A successful Souq Fann Digital Marketing Officer manages the online strategy and social media presences to expand the Souq Fann community, therefore ensuring more sales. This includes:
Strategy and Execution
- Design and implementation of social media strategy.
- Generate, edit, and publish posts on a daily basis to maintain and expand the Souq Fann community.
- Answer and interact with the Souq Fann community.
- Suggest and implement new features on social media to develop Souq Fann's brand awareness .
- Design and implement an international digital marketing strategy (competitive research, audience identification, etc).
- Contact and meet any potential partners or external stakeholders who could be part of the international digital marketing strategy.
- Work with other Souq Fann team members to coordinate the online strategy.
Analytics and Reporting
- Analyze the weekly outreach and write reports by taking into consideration the generated sales number.
- Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns.
- Identify and keep up-to-date with the latest trends within the digital and social media landscapes.
Overall Platform Development
- Contribute to overall sales and marketing strategy of the platform.
- Represent Souq Fann to vendors, customers, and other stakeholders when appropriate.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position includes competitive salary and benefits according to LOT’s internal salary scale. Final salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and skills of the candidate. Characteristics and Qualifications:
Performing well in this position requires:
- Excellent command of social media and other innovative tools
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Excellent content writing skills in Arabic/English and the ability to communicate with many different types of people from the Souq Fann community
- Ability to manage and solve conflictual situations with the community
- Ability to work in team and target formulated objectives
- A strong sense of creativity
- An appreciation of Jordan’s artistic and handicraft sector, and an understanding of relevant cultural and economic factors
A successful candidate will also have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in good standing from an accredited university
- At least two years of relevant work experience in the fields of social media management, digital marketing, or other relevant fields
- Fluency in English and Arabic
