Job Opportunity as a Mechanic at Nestle in Australia 2020

Nestle is looking for a talented Mechanic to join the team and work in Australia for 2020. This role will be responsible for the support of machinery breakdowns and planned maintenance activities, as well as working with operations and other key stakeholders to improve equipment reliability within the plant.  

Responsibilities:

1. Execute planned maintenance schedules.
2. Demonstrated ability to identify root cause of equipment issues through the use of fault finding and problem-solving techniques.
3. Line set-up and maintenance activities.
4. Equipment shutdown maintenance.
5. Participate in maintenance and equipment improvement activities.

Qualifications:

1. Trade certified.
2. Be confined space trained or willing & able to work in confined spaces when required.
3. Knowledge of HACCP & GMP.
4. Demonstrated ability to show initiative, be well organised, self-motivated and self-reliant.
5. Possess high work standards and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
6. Display a professional approach to the Continuous Improvement Process.
7. Genuine team player.
8. Experience in a high speed, continuous operating manufacturing environment is preferred.
9. Experience with SAP and TPM would be an advantage.
