Job Opportunity at CDM Smith in Jordan: Junior Civil Engineer

CDM Smith is currently looking for a Junior Civil Engineer to join the company team in Amman, Jordan.

Responsibilities:

The Junior Civil Engineer will be responsible for:

• Work within a team of professionals in designing water and wastewater projects
• Collect relevant information from all related authorities
• Review previous studies and reports
• Analyze data related to the project assignments
• Conduct hydraulic analysis using modelling software
• Prepare GIS maps
• Prepare preliminary and detailed design
• Prepare Tender Documents and Bill of Quantities
• Site Visits and collect samples
• Prepare plan and profile drawings using civil 3D software
• Attend meetings
• Working in a multi-disciplinary environment, closely coordinating with team members
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Civil Engineer
• Strong Communication skills in English and Arabic (speaking, reading and writing)
• Candidate must hold Jordanian citizenship and be legally authorized to work in Jordan
• Registration as a member of the Jordan Engineers Association
• 3-7 years of Experience
• Good Knowledge in designing Water and Wastewater Systems.
• Good knowledge in Civil 3D, Water CAD, Sewer CAD and GIS
