Job Opportunity at Facebook in the US: Partner Engineer

Facebook is offering a job opportunity to Partner Engineers in Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning within the team in California, the United States. Partner Engineering is a highly technical team that works with Facebook’s strategic partners to help them build, grow and monetise their apps and services using the Facebook platform. In this role, you will engage with some of the world's most influential companies and work closely with world-class engineering and AI research teams. You will represent Facebook at developer events and conferences, build sample code and write documentation that helps developers implement Facebook's tools and technologies. The ideal applicant will combine technical, product and business skills to make Facebook’s partners successful and improve the platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Deeply understand Facebook’s platform products and their underlying implementation.
2. Define and execute on a strategy to drive the adoption of Facebook's AI/ML offerings.
3. Work closely with strategic partners on deep learning integrations.
4. Be a subject matter technical expert, and have strategic influence on partners and internal teams at Facebook.
5. Represent Facebook and its AI/ML offerings at developer events.
6. Develop samples and other materials to share with the broader Facebook developer community.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 3 or more years experience as a software engineer, technical consultant or partner/sales engineer.
2. Software development experience in building software developed in Python, PHP, C/C++, Ruby, C# or Java (at least one).
3. Knowledge of the Web technology stack (HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, REST).
4. Communication experience including presenting to technical and business audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with deep neural networks and/or other forms of ML.
2. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities.
3. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience.
4. Knowledge of the Mobile (Android, iOS).
