Job Opportunity at Hikma in Jordan: SAP Development Team lead

Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC is currently looking for an SAP Development Team lead to join the company team in Amman, Jordan.

Responsibilities:

The SAP Development Team Lead will be responsible for:

• Develop structured ABAP programs to support business rules that guide management decisions in SAP functional areas.
• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Do the required SAP configuration or customizations related directly with SAP ABAP.
• Analyze business requirements, review existing systems, define the solution, and translate into levels of effort and technical designs.
• Perform tuning reports and programs for best performance where needed.
• Maintain appropriate levels of technical and procedural documentation.
• Adhere to appropriate departmental procedures and practices (such as auditing requirements, control procedures).
• Interact with Software vendors to solve any technical issues raised if any.
• Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years designing and developing middleware solutions using SAP Development.
• Knowledge in SAP PI/PO and software integration.
• Proficient in SAP ABAP development with Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise applications.
• Experience in Manual/automated testing.
• Experience in debugging, performance profiling and optimization Comprehensive understanding of objectoriented and service-oriented application development.
• Strong communication skills with both internal and external team members and business stakeholders.
• English language proficiency
