Opportunity description

Nestlé is offering a job opportunity for a Channel Category Sales Development Executive and another Executive specialized in Dairy to work in Manama, Bahrain for 2019. Responsibilities:

  1. To adapt category strategies to country needs and drive/manage them across channels/customers and follow through on the execution of category/brand plans to achieve set KPIs.
  2. Responsible to ensure that category volume/value and growth are achieved by country within category allocated budgets
  3. Translate Market category & brand objectives into country/channel category objectives in coordination with the sales teams while understanding and analyzing the Integrated Commercial Plan Process: Situation Analysis, Creating Winning Channel Activations and Objectives, Strategy, Tactics, and Activities (OSTA).
  4. Define and help maintain the core range distribution and merchandizing guidelines by channel. Analyze and recommend action plans, when needed, on numeric distribution, weighted distribution, core range, planograms.
  5. Ensure efficient implementation & evaluation of POS Material at point of purchase based on a picture of success and merchandising guidelines in alignment with the sales team (Quantities & Timelines) and the effective utilization of POS Material according to trade plans.
  6. Lead and execute regional activities and country-specific promotional process per category based on regional and local promo SOP (Defining objectives, briefing, coordinating the implementation and Pre/Post evaluation of all promotions).
  7. Responsible to conduct market visits in the country across all channels focusing on POP drivers, shelf life, and competitor activities. Based on shopper observation, recommend actionable in-store solutions within the trade channels.
  8. Ensure effective new product launches and/or line extensions on a country level through the implementation plan and organizing category roadshows/ presentations for the sales teams.

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Bilingual (English & Arabic).
  2. Demonstrate the ability to understand the business environment.
  3. Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, analytical and presentation skills.
  4. Demonstrate strong negotiation skills.
  5. University degree in Business or related field.
  6. 3 years’ experience in trade marketing or sales related field. For Dairy Executive, only 1-2 years' experience in trade marketing or sales is required. 
  7. FMCG Experience is a must (preferably in Nutrition or dairy).
