Job Opportunity in Egypt: Front-End Developer at Orange

Orange is offering a full-time job opportunity as a Front-End Developer to join the team in Cairo, Egypt for 2021. In this context, the Orange Reporting and Analytics (ORA) system is the new digital reporting solution for Orange Business Services customers. This application will be developed in Agile SCRUM mode brings advanced analytical features to go beyond the historical contractual reporting features which used to be provided by the customers’ service managers adding more value and meeting the customers’ expectations regarding what to be reported, the look & feel, accuracy of the report, report availability and reliability.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. The front-end developer will be working closely with the technical lead, the SCRUM master managing the project, the back-end developers in addition to the product IT delivery manager.
2. Getting the development requirements from the agile tool / user stories prepared by the business analyst.
3. Develop new user-facing features.
4. Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
5. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
6. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
7. Monitor and ensure high quality control on both designs and s/w code.
8. Contributing in ensuring the completion of the planned sprint as scheduled.
9. Maintaining the software workflow management with a project management tool (GitHub).
10. Collaborating with back-end developers to improve the usability of the application.
11. Create quality mockups and prototypes.

Qualifications:

Functional Skills:

1. Strong ability to work in a team.
2. Adept at various technologies.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Time management.

Technical Skills:

1. Knowledge of frontend programming frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap).
2. SOA, EDA, micorservcies and design patterns.
3. Javascript , Agular 2+ , HTML5, CSS3.
4. Bonus point  Node.js.
5. Good experience in working in Agile and DevOps is a plus.
6. ITIL foundation knowledge (certificate is a plus).

Educational background:

1. B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent.
2. Fluent in English, French is a plus.

Professional Experience:

2-5+ Years work Experience in software development activities.
