Job Opportunity in Germany as an Electrical Engineer at Amaris

Amaris is looking for a colleague who will act as an electrical project engineer within the team in Hamburg. The main task is to aid during the execution of a customer project (wind farm) and work with both the relevant customer project manager of the client and the customer.  within the respective project organization in the areas of medium and high voltage, measurement and control technology, SCADA & communication. 

Eligibility:

You must have:

1. Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable training with further qualification.
2. At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in an international industrial environment, ideally in the wind industry.
3. Experience in the field of measurement and control technology as well as medium and high voltage technology.
4. Knowledge of communication and network technology.
5. Very good knowledge of handling complex projects.
6. Very good written and spoken skills in German and English.
7. Very good MS Office knowledge.
8. Routine in dealing with customers to clarify technical issues.
9. Independent, goal- and customer-oriented way of working and excellent organizational, communication and teamwork skills, paired with intercultural competence and negotiating skills.
10. Entrepreneurial thinking, assertiveness and conflict resolution.
11. Willingness to go on business trips lasting several days (possibly international).

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

• Project planning of medium-voltage components of wind turbines (WTG) as well as SCADA components and signal interfaces (OPC, SQL, I / O, IEC-101, IEC-104).
• Clarification of the wind farm control concept at the grid connection point.
• Coordination and control of various technical requirements from project permits (BImSchG permits).
• Agreements between network operators, direct marketers and suppliers.
• Creation of electrotechnical specifications.
• Clarification and consultation with the specialist departments for the development and implementation of project-specific solutions in low and medium voltage technology.
• Support of commissioning and acceptance tests.
• Technical support for project management in electrical engineering issues.
• Proof of system certification according to BDEW and VDE of wind parks in Germany and wind parks in other EU countries.
• Close cooperation with interface departments such as engineering, sales, purchasing and service.
