Job Opportunity in Greece: Data Visualization/Business Intelligence Engineer at PwC

PwC in Athens is looking for a Data Visualization/Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Data and Analytics team for 2019. It is a core team responsible of providing Advanced Big Data Management, Visualization and Predictive Modelling Scientific solutions and applications based on cloud based infrastructure across the PwC Greece office. If you successfully pass the recruitment assessment process then you will see yourself gaining experience from various design and implementing effective visualizations and BI dashboard deploying among other techniques a large volumes of data deploying the most appropriate methodologies and technologies.  One time you will work on designing the data model and warehouse of a cloud based infrastructure focusing on optimizing systems’ performance of a leading international organization, while the other time you will be part of a team working on supporting the team on various predictive modelling advisory projects utilizing appropriate software solutions.                     

Responsibilities:              

1. Working closely with a talented team of data engineers, data scientists and BI developers to solve important and challenging problems for clients and internal teams within Greece and abroad.
2. Interpreting written business requirements into technical specification documents.
3. Deploying best practices in visualization based on industry knowledge.
4. Participating along with other team members in designing conceptual models and ensure consistency in data architecture and design/code.
5. Designing and implementation of interactive Dashboards utilizing various cloud based data sources.
6. Perform Quality Assurance in every deliverable ensuring high quality.
7. Documenting and communicating your findings as well as training colleagues and clients alike with best practices in your field.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering and any other relevant field.
2. Minimum 2 years proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server stack  is a must.
3. Ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
4. Experience in data warehouse concepts and data modeling techniques and ability to understand how data should be structured in dimensions and measures.
5. Experience in T-SQL language syntax.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team.
7. Solid experience with at least one of the leading Business Intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau or Qlik) is required.
8. Strong visualization skills regardless of the technology used.
9. A positive and enthusiastic attitude for working in different industries and markets.
10. Highly motivated and effective at learning new skills and technologies.
11. Working experience with Enterprise applications  (ERP, CRM, WMS, etc.) and complex database schemas is preferred.
12. Experience in cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure or AWS) will be considered a plus.
13. Experience in working with large data sets will be considered a plus.
14. Military services fulfilled for male candidates.
