Opportunity description

Arab Bank in Jordan offers a job opportunity as a Product Manager–Transaction Banking.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree (MBA a plus).
  • Minimum 3 years in product or market development, IT or operations with international banks or relevant banking experience.

Required Skills:

  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Strong Project management skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven understanding/knowledge of all banking products and services, background in IT is a plus.
  • Proven Product Development Lifecycle skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the development of the CIB and Trade products, service offering and channels requirements as per market, client and regulatory requirements.
  • Promoting CIB process transformation and standardizing CIB processes across countries.
  • Managing projects as relevant and ensuring successful delivery across the network.
  • Assist in defining requirements for corporate products and amending existing products as per market, client and regulatory requirements.
  • Reviewing Arab Bank P&Ps to ensure a standardized operating approach where CIB is a stakeholder.
  • Reviewing pricing schemes for transaction services across countries and channels.
  • Providing training within Arab Bank Line of Business to ensure a consistent and accurate understanding of the full scope of product, solution and operating model.
  • Assist in identifying possible new product propositions through staying closely linked to country CIB, with frequent client interaction.
  • Assist in defining channel requirements and management for transaction servicing for CIB clients.
  • Develop and support business requirements for the e-Channel platform and services.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and post-implementation review.
