P&G offers a job opportunity in Turkey as health, safety and environmental manager. The company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) organization is a critical component of the company's Gebze plant and plays a meaningful role in delivering the results. The company is looking for a highly motivated, experienced HS&E leader to join the company's team and to help build its capability. Eligibility:

You must have:

• People early in their careers with a good knowledge of HS&E systems and work processes in FMCG/industrial safety.
• Expertise in HS&E legal requirements and regulations.
• Legal safety certification (Preferably degree B).
• Good communication skills in both Turkish and English.
• Good interpersonal skills to keep site HS&E/Site construction safety team engaged and energized towards HS&E goals and business delivery.
• Team management experience.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

1. Develop and set up occupational Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) strategies and improvements for the site.
2. Design, develop and ensure an HS&E organization. Set department and individual targets aligned with site targets.
3. Ensure that accurate records as per the guidelines of corporate safety standards are maintained.
4. Ensure all safety systems and DMS (Daily Management System) are in place and executed on the floor via systems owners.
5. Capability building of all contractors and employees for safety and to make sure all incidents are captured and analyzed and actions are planned and taken to prevent a recurrence.
6. Identify the best safe work practices and ensure formal reports/reviews of action plans of HS&E audit and regular follow up on internal/external audits.
7. Conduct regular HS&E audits and also external audits are coordinated and organized.
8. Ensure risk assessment/hazard risk assessment exercises carried out on a defined frequency.
9. Perform environment, social, safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and accurate potential hazards, ensure safety regulation compliance.
10. Ensure systemic adherence to all work permit systems on site.
11. Prepare site-specific hazard identification & risk assessment & environment aspect.
12. Ensuring adequate safety and environmental documentation at site meeting company, customer, statutory and regulatory requirements and other requirements to which company has prescribed.
13. Ensure compliance of all legal permissions for site and personnel of the site. Maintain a solid understanding of legal obligations under first nations and local authority environment, law.
14. Acts as a champion for the company's health and safety initiatives.
15. Evaluation of site subcontractors for their performance.
16. Financial budget setting and management for the HS&E Dept MOE.
