Opportunity description
TRT is looking for a talented senior backend developer to join the company's team in İstanbul, Turkey. You will be responsible for developing backend APIs for mobile games and applications, building reporting tools for the gaming department.
Eligibility:
You must have:
- A University degree in the fields of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in software development in backend systems.
- Experienced in REST-style API design and development.
- Re-platforming, application rationalization, and target architecture and roadmap development.
- Knowledge of multiple backend languages (PHP and JavaScript Frameworks like Express, Node.js etc.).
- Experience in agile development, continuous integration, test-driven development and GIT version control.
- Proficiency in asynchronous processing in handling state or data processing.
- Understanding of backend architecture for mobile applications and games.
- Experience in C# and mobile app development with Unity big plus.
- Strong capacity to identify requirements and define technical solutions.
- Good communications skills in English, solid interpersonal skills, an agile mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Creating, extending, scaling, and improving the core codebase of the products.
- Specifically improving the backend experience for the company's users.
- Designing the backend architecture, adding new features as requested from the user base.
- Learning new technologies that the company may need to support clients or improve the development workflow.
- Tackling optimization challenges due to loads associated with millions of transactions.
