Walt Disney offers a job opportunity as an Assistant Key Account Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Job Description:
This role is responsible for supporting the growth of the Key Account Management team and Direct to Retail (DTR) consumer products business in the UAE in line with Disney’s core strategies. You will assist and support the Key Account Manager in developing and growing Disney’s key retailers and/or licensees, to develop best in class product consistent with Disney’s brand image, support the establishment of key partnership principles, joint business planning and deployment of key account strategy including Marketing campaigns. Further, you will have the opportunity to work with strategic retail partners to optimize Disney’s product distribution and ensure permanent product presence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop key account plans in line with TWDC Middle East set priorities and each account’s marketing calendar.
- Assist in managing and building an excellent relationship with defined accounts.
- Work with KAM’s to provide solutions to increase presence at shelf and product availability.
- Regular contact with relevant buyers, departments (e.g. Marketing) at retail.
- Provide integrated promo, marketing & merchandise plans to relevant buyers & departments at retail.
- Team up with product development to drive the relevant offer and ranges of compelling products.
- Coordinate product approvals with Product Developer.
- Co-ordinate with Trade Marketing team to follow up on action points.
- Cooperate efficiently and internally with relevant LOB’s.
- Communicate externally with relevant licensees and distributors.
- Deliver quarterly reports of all executed campaigns.
- Handle properly contract administration together with admin supervisor.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- At Least 4 years’ experience in retail, sales or marketing with branded consumer product companies or retailers - ideally within fashion and apparel.
- Knowledge and experience of GCC retail landscape and respective business patterns
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to multi-task within a small, fast-paced & dynamic group
- Sales and /or trade marketing experience preferred
- Assistant Brand management expertise is essential
- International Company experience is preferred
- Undergraduate degree, ideally Business Management or similar qualification
