Opportunity description

Chalhoub Group offers a job opportunity in the UAE as a marketing executive. You will be responsible for providing professional support in a wide range of marketing activities, working closely with brand executives, commercial and administrative teams. You will also be responsible for interpreting, adapting and planning brand marketing plans, keeping in mind the brand standards and budgets. 

Eligibility:

You must have:

  • Experience as a marketing executive for 2+years.
  • Experience in managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders.
  • Beauty and luxury experience are highly desired.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management. 
  • Ability to execute online and offline marketing initiatives.
  • Arabic speaking is preferred. 

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  1. Marketing and promotional plans.
  2. Be involved in all aspects of marketing and media from planning, advertising, promotions, public, media relations, product development and research.
  3. Assist in building a marketing plan/calendar for the different chains/brands/ markets in close co-operation with the department manager and the Brand’s marketing departments.
  4. Handle the marketing plan forecast and the marketing plan orders.
  5. Follow up closely on the plans’ implementation, schedule and activities in all concerned markets.
  6. Ensure preserving the image of the brand at the POS by respecting its merchandising guidelines.
  7. Plan and follow-up on promotions in coordination with the different area managers and the training and promotion manager.
  8. Work in coordination with commercial team and list objectives for main customers.
  9. Manage and coordinate with concerned parties for the production of marketing materials being from leaflets, visuals, podiums, flyers, and preparing necessary photo shoots to pro-reading press releases.
  10. Organize, attend events, and exhibitions.
  11. Carry out local market research, customer survey, assessing customer demands, brand positioning, monitor competitors’ activities, and evaluating market campaigns.
  12. Channel all suppliers and customers information (animation / training / launch plan) to stores/shop managers, area, and department/ division manager.
  13. Monitor windows, podiums and any other promotional area ensuring promotional activities throughout the year, in coordination with the design department (3D).
  14. Present the various marketing plans for the stores/ shop managers and ensure its proper implementation.
  15. Inform the purchasing supervisor about marketing activities to ensure the availability of the stock timeframe.
  16. Meet and discuss with local suppliers for all marketing bookings and animations.
  17. Send the catalogs, new price lists and miscellaneous information to the customers.
  18. Define the media and PR plan by briefing the advertising agency.
  19. Splitting the media investments by product line and by media support to respect the brand’s media strategy and the total budget initially set by the area manager/ department manager.
  20. Coordinate with advertising agencies and clients on media plans.  
  21. Prepare a monthly updated report of expenses.
  22. Prepare monthly management reports comparing the budget versus the stock.
  23. Handle the translation of all the documents.
  24. Build, maintain and update a good database (CRM) through consolidating information from shop floors.
  25. Participate in relevant projects and community activities as and when needed.
