Job Opportunity in UAE as a Quality Assurance Manager in Chalhoub Group

Eligibility:

You must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Retail/Education/Business or related field.
• Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent.
• Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice or equivalent.
• It's preferred to have a level 4 Certificate in Leading the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
• 6+ years of the overall experience.
• Proven experience as a quality assurance manager in the education sector, lead quality assurer, external verifier or relevant role.
• Proven experience in delivering and assessing vocational qualifications.
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards verifications of international vocational qualifications.
• High-level numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Certification in external quality assurance is a strong advantage.
• Be flexible and adaptive.
• English and Arabic Language.
• Excellent communication, written, verbal, IT and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to meet deadlines.
• Develop and monitor clear action plans.

You will be responsible for:

1. Monitor all operations that affect the quality of learning & development activities at a regional level.
2. Supervise and guide trainers, assessors and quality assurance team members.
3. Observe training sessions, provide feedback, support and recommendations.
4. Monitor consistency of training sessions across all academies in the region.
5. Appraise learners’ requirements and report to the head of group L&D.
6. Report all concerns and inconsistencies to academy managers to ensure immediate corrective measures are set.
7. Monitor learners’ performance using Power Bi dashboards and support learning analysts with monthly data.
8. Review current standards and policies & devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues.
9. Keep records of quality reports and relevant documentation.
10. Ensure all legal standards set by awarding bodies and governmental entities are met at international standards.
11. Communicate with external quality assurance and international awarding bodies to organize inspections of all academies in the region and facilitate all requirements.
12. Undertake sampling of learner work within defined parameters and rules to establish that assessment outcomes and internal verification processes meet all required international standards.
13. Provide continuous support and development to academies across the region.
14. Provide IQA reports to the head of group L&D on monthly basis.
15. Support academies to understand and implement identified actions.
16. Report back to the head of group L&D and academy managers following all external verifier visits.
17. Support IQA team and assessors in planning and conducting standardization activities for all academies across the region
18. Ensure all IQA activities and reports are completed across all academies in the region according to IQA plan.
