Al Tamimi & Company is offering a great job opportunity to work as As an Associate in the Commercial department. you will be part of the capital markets team which is responsible for cross-border, local and international capital markets legal advisory in the wider MENA region and transactional acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures. clients include global corporations, regionally listed and private corporations, governmental authorities, business enterprises, private equity firms and financial institutions to whom we provide a full service practice with specific industry sector focus.

Responsibilities:

1. Advising on deal structuring and strategy;
2. Conducting legal due diligence (M&A or capital markets)
3. Preparing and negotiating acquisition agreements, shareholder agreements and joint venture agreements;
4. Demonstrating initiative with respect to client development 
5. Legal project management
6. Drafting offering documents
7. Corresponding with regulators
8. Advising on corporate governance matters
9. Ensuring billing average of 5.5 hours a day and collection targets are met

Required Skills:

1. Post qualification experience - 3 – 5 years
2. English (Arabic a plus but not essential)
3. Common Law (preferably English law qualified and then US)
4. Dual M&A and capital markets experience (general corporate finance) in both London and UAE
5. Minimum of 3 years at Magic Circle or top US experience (or other high quality Firms)
