Opportunity description

Aramex offers a job opportunity as a Senior Financial Internal Auditor to join the team in Amman, Jordan for 2020-2021. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Perform Individual internal audit projects/engagements as part of Internal Audit plan:
  2. Develop Audit Scope.
  3. Perform Audit procedures & testing.
  4. Prepare internal audit reports reflecting the audit performed.
  5. Participate in developing (annual plan) for financial related risks assessment and exposure.
  6. Analyze group level financial information as part of continuous financial audit review.
  7. Develop new financial audit techniques to leverage the efficiency or effectiveness.
  8. Participate in risk assessments and development for the internal audit plan.
  9. Participate in the development of the Strategic financial Audit Plan and Annual Audit Plan.
  10. Prepare preliminary testing strategies to achieve the objectives of audit assignments.
  11. Prepare internal audit programs including sampling techniques to be used.
  12. Ensure that sufficient testing is done for internal controls identified in the planning phase.
  13. Supervise the execution of the internal audit plan and ensure that sufficient documentation is completed and filed.
  14. Prepare the draft internal audit report.
  15. Prepare the final report to be issued to the respective process owner(s).

Job Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  2. A professional certification in Accounting or Auditing such as CA, CIA, CPA, CMA is a plus.
  3. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in auditing field is required.
  4. Good leadership skills including people management, selection and development skills.
  5. Very good command of written and spoken English.
  6. Very good analytical, planning, forecasting and execution skills.
  7. Excellent communication skills (Listening/writing/interpersonal/speaking).
  8. IFRS Knowledge.
  9. Business/Financial analysis knowledge.
  10. SAP knowledge.
  11. Financial Performance Management and financial reporting.
  12. CAATs experience.
  13. Risk Management & ERM framework.
  14. Coso – Internal Controls.
