ABB is offering a full-time job opportunity as a Project Specialist to join the team and work in Doha, Qatar for 2021. You will be working as Project Specialist and will be part of Electrification Business Area for Global Markets based in Doha, Qatar. In this role you will be reporting to the Project Manager and will be responsible for coordinating the various aspects of the project and supporting the project manager in managing and executing the project.

1. Supporting the project execution and controlling the various aspects of the projects. Managing customer invoice submission process as per project manager instructions.
2. Documenting the invoice on SAP and following up on the collections and implementing measures to overcome late payments. Ensuring to record all the customers deliveries in the master file.
3. Reviewing and verifying supplier’s and subcontractor’s invoices and preparing the materials required for the project.
4. Analyzing and evaluating the planned and the actual project performance under the supervision of project manager.
5. Supporting project manager in coordinating with the internal and external stakeholder to ensure quality execution and delivery of project milestones.
6. Ensuring accuracy in the project documentation and maintaining a master file to record the transactions and inspections.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in project management role.
3. Candidates must have good knowledge in SAP with prior experience in project documentation and execution.
4. Good understanding on medium voltage switchgear will be beneficial to the role.
5. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain good relationship with the stakeholders.
6. Good command over Arabic language will be an advantage.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
