TRT is offering a job opportunity as a Digital Producer to join the team in Washington DC in the United States. The Digital Producer - Fast News will produce a wide range of news content for TRT World's various digital platforms. The aim of the content will be to inform and empower the audience in an engaging way, while working shifts on the digital news desk. 

 Responsibilities:

1. Produce news content for the channel’s digital news section from varied sources.
2. Provide editorial direction and conceptualise content styles and storytelling techniques.
3. Preliminary decision making on news headlines and summaries for news stories.
4. Tailor and distribute platform specific content.

Key skills, experience and education:

1. University degree in Media/Digital Media/Communication.
2. At least 3-5 years’ experience in print or digital journalism.
3. Sound editorial judgment of Global issues.
4. A passion and commitment to the TRT World spirit of journalism.
5. Sound leadership and communication abilities.
6. Ability to do shift work and work under tight pressure and deadlines.
7. Ability to fluently interact with social media platforms.
8. Ability to write crisp news copy, and work with multiple content types.
9. A proven track record of success.
10. Should be fluent in English.
