The Libra Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for bright, talented undergraduate students with proven leadership potential to undertake a paid placement with the Libra Group and its global subsidiaries. Working alongside industry professionals, all internships are focused and fully supported to give participants the best experience of a working environment where they can develop and hone many skills required for their future career. The program’s threefold purpose is:
- To help young people prepare for work in the modern world
- To provide real experience of industry and learning in a dynamic global business environment
- To nurture and develop students who demonstrate clear potential to be the leaders of tomorrow.

Types of Internships:
Positions are available in finance, marketing, social responsibility, accounting, IT support, human resources, hotel operations and more. Click here to search for potential opportunities.
Eligible Criteria
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 (USA) or equivalent
- Be available for mandatory orientation and internship dates. You can access the key dates through here
- Be fluent in English
When applying you should be one of the following:
- A currently enrolled undergraduate student at an accredited college/university
- A currently enrolled MBA student at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB)
- A currently enrolled M.Sc. student in International Shipping, Finance, and Management at AUEB
- A currently enrolled M.Sc. student in Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus
- A currently enrolled Masters student at ALBA Graduate Business School

Financial Compensation
All interns are placed on local payroll. In addition, Libra will directly book and pay for the flight to orientation, accommodation for orientation and the flight to and from each internship location. Also, you will be responsible for your own housing arrangements. Before arrival, the Social Responsibility team will provide you with a housing guide and if applicable, connect you with interns in the same location if you are seeking roommates.
