Paid Internship Opportunity at RB in USA: Financial Analyst

Reckitt Benckiser Group (RB) offers an internship opportunity, as it is looking for a Financial Analyst Intern to join its Corporate North America Headquarters in NJ, the USA for the Summer of 2020. The internship will expose interns to the following areas: Commercial Finance, Financial Control, Supply Services Finance, and Financial Systems. 

Duration:

10-12 weeks 

Required Qualifications: 

1. B.S. in Accounting or Finance (upon graduation in 2021 or 2022).
2. Excellent organization skills and ability to understand and analyze data logically. 
3. Proficient in Excel (spreadsheet development, formula creation, VLOOKUP's, pivots, macros, etc.). 
4. Strong oral and written communication skills. 
5. Interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills to allow for mutual understanding of problems and business needs. 
6. Ability to challenge and influence decisions, multi-task and prioritize assignments. 
7. A foundation in accounting or financial analysis. 
8. Working experience in general ledger and reporting systems.
9. Thrive under pressure and hit tight deadlines. 
10. Close attention to detail and an analytical mindset allows him/her to spot trends and anomalies others miss. 
11. Excellent communicator, willing to share views and influence others using facts and data.

Internship Responsibilities: 

1. Collect, process, verify and report accounting related information.
2. Perform professional analytical and management support work assignments. 
3. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, developing and/or utilizing spreadsheets, databases and other computer applications. 
4. Process specialized information, reports, and forms, such as for fees, billing, project tracking, etc. and enter information into a financial accounting system. 
5. Understand Key Performance Indicators that drive financial performance. 
6. Other financial, accounting and information system related tasks are to be performed as assigned.
