Opportunity description

Amman Academy, part of Nord Anglia Education, is one of the top international schools in Jordan and the world, recognized as an IB world school in 2006. It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 private IB day school teaching bilingually in English and Arabic. The school is located in the heart of West Amman in the popular neighborhood of Khalda. The institution is currently seeking a qualified Art Teacher to join their academic faculty.



Duties & responsibilities

  • Align all professional attributes with the Amman Academy Values: Creativity and Innovation, Integrity, Well-being, Collaboration, Respect and Discipline, and Educational Excellence.

  • Participate actively in written assessments, subject-specific assessments, and deliver demo classes when required by the faculty.

  • Create a safe, happy environment in which children and young people can thrive and learn.

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils by embracing all races, abilities, religions, genders, and cultures.

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in art or any related fields.

  • 2 to 4 years of similar teaching experience.

  • Fluency in the English language.

  • Previous knowledge of the IB system is considered a strong plus.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • High levels of organization and time management capabilities.

  • Solid IT skills.
