Opportunity description

Walt Disney is offering the Consumer Insight Analytics Internship for current students or recent graduates from all over the world to join the team remotely or in Florida, United States for the Spring of 2022. 

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Assisting with qualitative and quantitative consumer research in support of the Disney Parks & Resorts segment.
  2. Partnering with leadership to analyze secondary data sources, design research studies, interpret qualitative and quantitative data, create presentations, and share results with internal stakeholders.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Junior or higher working towards (or recently graduated with) a degree in Marketing, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Statistics, Tourism Management, Business or other related field.
  2. GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  3. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  4. Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  5. Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  6. Must be compliant with The Disney Look.
  7. Must provide full work availability.
  8. All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
  9. Must provide own transportation to/from work.
  10. Strategic problem solving & analytical skills.
  11. Demonstrated experience with a statistical package (e.g. SPSS, SAS, R, Qualtrics, etc.).
  12. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  13. Experience collecting and analyzing data and reporting on the results.
  14. Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
  15. Ability to effectively translate data points into findings and create compelling presentations.
  16. Relationship builder, who excels in a collaborative environment.
  17. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize competing tasks.
  18. A curious nature and passion for understanding the ‘what’ & ‘why’.
  19. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated experience with Tableau.
  2. Previous market research experience.
  3. Experience with SPSS.
  4. Familiarity with Research methodologies and designing Research plan.
