Internship in the USA in the Field of Content Licensing ​& Distribution at Walt Disney

Walt Disney offers an internship opportunity as an intern with content sales & distribution, that will last May/June 2022 through August 2022. Content Sales & Distribution is a dynamic team within DMED. The team is responsible for the SVOD, AVOD, and linear licensing of the films and TV series produced by the world-class studios of The Walt Disney Company. As an intern, you will be part of international business units that aligns technology, media distribution, and advertising sales into a single business segment to create and deliver personalized entertainment experiences to consumers around the world.

You will be responsible for:

• Assist with the US and global licensing of Disney content.
• Supporting revenue targets for the company’s entire portfolio.
• Provide deal support from beginning to end (e.g. content availability, pricing proposals, contract review, deal tracking).
• Distribution strategy, planning, and analysis; content planning and analysis; finance; accounting; marketing; and international sales.
• Be a content and programming expert across films and TV series, with a strong understanding of the SVOD, AVOD, Cable, and Broadcast businesses.
• Utilize and summarize data and research on titles, performance, trends, platforms, competitors, and markets.
• Explore and develop new licensing strategies and revenue opportunities.
• Create impactful presentations that combine strong analysis and narrative.

You must have:

3. Ability to problem-solve, and think independently.
4. Work efficiently, and manage various projects simultaneously.
5. Expertise in interpreting and synthesizing data in order to provide strategic insights.
6. Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
7. Effective and flexible communication skills.
8. Currently enrolled in an MBA program and on track to graduate by summer 2023.
9. OR must have graduated from an MBA program within 6 months.
10. Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program concurrent to this internship.
11. Unrestricted work authorization.
12. Available to work full-time hours for the duration of the internship.
13. Working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for working remotely.
