Internship Opportunity in Data Scientist at Microsoft in France

Microsoft offers an internship opportunity to be one of the data scientists. It will start on February 1st, 2022 for 6 months. Data Scientists are strategists who work closely with Microsoft's partners to assist customers in the delivery of high-quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas, technologies, services, and products in diverse client environments. You will gain the chance to build your network, cultivate intentional capabilities and gain perspective into the career opportunities across Microsoft’s many exciting businesses.

You will be responsible for:

• Assist customers in the delivery of high-quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas, technologies, services, and products.
• Understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure, and operational implications of the developed solution. 
• Cultivates relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders to identify drivers of satisfaction.
• Stabilizing developed solutions using Microsoft methodologies in:
• complex customer environments.
• the design and development of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products, services, and technologies.

You must have: 

1. Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Applied Sciences like Biostatistics, Physics, Chemistry, or other quant-focused fields (within 12 months of graduation). 
2. Some Engineering experience and/or project coursework using big data systems using SQL, HDInsight/Cloudera, etc. 
3. Proficiency using one or more programming or scripting languages to work with data such as Python, Julia, Scala, or JavaScript. 
4. Some experience in data analysis and applying statistics working with tools such as Excel, MATLAB, AMPL, SPSS, or SAS. 
5. Some A/B Testing or hypothesis. 
6. Some experience or course work applying basic ML to a type of data. 
7. Passion for technology.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication.
9. Analytical and presentation skills. 
10. Microsoft Product Certification, MCSE, or other technical certifications is a plus.
