The school is currently seeking a passionate Economics Teacher to join their academic team in August 2026.
Duties & responsibilities
Plan and deliver lessons that inspire and challenge all students, strictly in line with the school's curriculum, policies, and external assessment requirements.
Assess students' in-class and at-home learning regularly, providing targeted feedback to drive academic progress.
Establish a positive classroom and school environment where students feel valued, supported, and ready to take risks in their learning.
Work closely with colleagues as an active member of the learning community, sharing best practices and committing to continuous professional development.
Play an active role in the school's co-curricular programme, from leading clubs to contributing to whole-school initiatives.
Maintain open and constructive communication with parents to build strong partnerships that support students' progress.
Eligibility criteria
A university degree and a current teaching certificate.
A minimum of three years of teaching experience in an international program (PYP, MYP, or DP experience and accreditation are highly valued).
A near-native command of the English language.
A genuine passion for education with the ability to engage, motivate, and positively impact young people.
In-depth expertise and passion for the subject of Economics.
Strong organizational and administrative skills to plan and prioritize a varied workload.
Experience using educational technology to enhance the classroom educational experience.
