The school is currently seeking a passionate Economics Teacher to join their academic team in August 2026.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver lessons that inspire and challenge all students, strictly in line with the school's curriculum, policies, and external assessment requirements.

  • Assess students' in-class and at-home learning regularly, providing targeted feedback to drive academic progress.

  • Establish a positive classroom and school environment where students feel valued, supported, and ready to take risks in their learning.

  • Work closely with colleagues as an active member of the learning community, sharing best practices and committing to continuous professional development.

  • Play an active role in the school's co-curricular programme, from leading clubs to contributing to whole-school initiatives.

  • Maintain open and constructive communication with parents to build strong partnerships that support students' progress.

Eligibility criteria

  • A university degree and a current teaching certificate.

  • A minimum of three years of teaching experience in an international program (PYP, MYP, or DP experience and accreditation are highly valued).

  • A near-native command of the English language.

  • A genuine passion for education with the ability to engage, motivate, and positively impact young people.

  • In-depth expertise and passion for the subject of Economics.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills to plan and prioritize a varied workload.

  • Experience using educational technology to enhance the classroom educational experience.
