Opportunity description

PwC is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team in Amman. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues. The role involves acting as a key resource and liaison to other functional areas of the business, building cross-functional relationships, and ensuring efficient administrative and diary management.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Manage demanding diaries, ensuring efficient scheduling of meetings and resolving conflicts appropriately.

  • Ensure Executives get to meetings on time with appropriate documentation.

  • Handle and screen calls, taking and passing messages in a timely manner.

  • Monitor Executives' email inboxes when they are out of the office and take necessary action.

  • Plan proactively for internal and external meetings, including organizing catering and IT requirements.

  • Proofread and edit documents when required, such as presentations, proposals, and letters.

  • Maintain and update the Executives' contact databases and general filing.

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.

  • 1 to 2+ years of experience in an administrative role (experience in a professional services firm is an advantage).

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English (Arabic is an advantage).

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to act on own initiative to highlight issues and suggest solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Must possess a professional telephone manner and a warm, friendly demeanor.

  • Proficiency in administrative systems, Google G suite, and fast keyboard skills (at least 55 words per minute).
