Opportunity description

Deloitte Middle East is offering an excellent internship opportunity within the Human Resources department, focusing specifically on Onboarding and Offboarding processes for our offices in Jordan and Egypt. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in HR operations, ensuring new hires experience a seamless integration into the firm and managing the exit process for departing professionals with care and efficiency. You will be part of an inclusive, supportive environment where you can develop foundational corporate skills and learn how a global professional services firm operates behind the scenes.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Assist the HR team with organizing and conducting new hire orientation sessions.

  • Prepare onboarding kits, welcome emails, and ensure all necessary joining documentation is collected and filed accurately.

  • Support the processing of offboarding paperwork, scheduling exit interviews, and tracking the return of company assets.

  • Update and maintain strict confidentiality of HR databases, employee records, and internal trackers.

  • Coordinate with IT and Facilities departments to ensure workstations and access cards are ready for new joiners.

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR Operations team as needed.

Eligibility criteria

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a high capability to multitask.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • A positive, proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn within a corporate environment.
