Opportunity description
Disney is offering Instructional Design internship, Sales Learning Services- Fall 2022 in Florida, United States.
Duration:
You must be fully available to work from June 2022 through January 2023.
Duties & responsibilities
- Thinking critically to help develop and implement effective learning solutions to support both internal and external partners
- Creatively providing critical learning recommendations based upon best practices and ideas in adult learning theory
- Managing several assigned learning content projects, scheduling design and review meetings and ensuring deadlines are met
- Developing reference guides, “how-to” tutorial resources, presentations, facilitator scripts, online learning experiences, instructional videos, and classroom experiences.
- Shadowing and assisting with train-the-trainer sessions with training delivery partners and conduct after action and annual learning content reviews to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Eligibility criteria
- Familiarity with Instructional Design and technology best practices
- Comfortable with presenting learning material both virtually and in person
- Passion for developing engaging and creative learning content in a dynamic professional environment
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud applications
- Proven ability to organize projects and communicate effectively
- A passion for research and compiling information in a clear and understandable way
- Sensitivity when handling confidential information
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
- Knowledge of Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, National Geographic Expeditions and Aulani: A Disney Resort & Spa products and services.
- Junior or senior level student pursuing a degree in Learning Design, Learning Technology, Education or related field OR have graduated within 6 months
Preferred Qualifications:
- Facilitation and presentation skills
- Familiarity with eLearning development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise
- Outstanding partnering skills, with employees at all levels within the organization
Additional Information:
- Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must provide full work availability
- Must provide own transportation to/from work
