Volvo Cars is offering Product, Safety & Compliance Internship in South Carolina, USA.
The Regulatory & Compliance (R&C) department is charged with administering and filing various reports to government agencies in the United States and Canada. This includes the Transportation Recall Enhancement, Accountability, and Documentation (TREAD) reporting to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). In addition to TREAD R&C is responsible for government reporting, safety compliance, emissions reporting and compliance, New Car Assessment Programs, and Environmental Regulatory Compliance.

Duties & responsibilities
- Create/Develop next generation text mining to identify reportable claims
- Data analysis of recovered information
- Provide support for data-driven solutions such as program design, data aggregation and data analysis.
- Perform Data comparison/correlations across internal data base systems
- Participation and collaboration with various departments in Sweden
- Maintain data updates on progress/performance tracking
Eligibility criteria
The Regulatory & Compliance Intern will gain a vast knowledge of the NHTSA, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), California Air Resources Board (CARB), and Transport Canada’s (TC) inner workings in regards various government reporting requirements and reports. This Intern will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and enhancing todays reports to further automate reporting and reduce the risk of errors and oversite in reporting.
