McKinsey & Company is offering internship opportunity as a Junior Capabilities and Insights Analyst to join the team in Zagreb, Croatia.
Duties & responsibilities
- You will identify and gather relevant company, industry, and economic information using a broad spectrum of appropriate sources.
- In this role, you will provide synthesis, insights, and practical implications via end products in the form of single exhibits, written summaries, basic fact packs, and spreadsheets.
- You will master the basic McKinsey research toolkit (fluency in McKinsey terminology and concepts, understanding of the firm’s knowledge network, knowledge of core information/data sources) and will actively contribute to the workflow/activities within the global team.
- Over time, you will develop expertise in one or more areas and help the firm build its knowledge base in these areas. You’ll provide our clients and consultants with insights on various industries in Central Europe and beyond. Your work will be multifaceted and exciting, and you will gain insights into many industries and topics.
Eligibility criteria
- Student, preferably in last year of studies, with an excellent academic record.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills.
- Skilled in the research, analysis and synthesis of information.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment with people at all levels in an organization.
- Demonstrated interest in economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminology.
- Fluent in spoken and written in Croatian and English.
- Availability to work minimum 3 days per week.
