Remote Paid Internship from World Food Program in Italy

World Food Program offers an internship opportunity that have been launched with a title; Global Accommodation and UN Booking Hub Unit, MSD. This internship is expected to start on October 2022, for 6 months with the possibility to extend to 8 months. You will have the chance to be provided with close mentoring, guidance, and technical supervision. Performance planning and reviews as well as learning and development discussions will be an elemental part of the supervision.

Under the direct supervision of the Accommodation Common Service Manager, you will perform the following duties:

• Support on the data analysis and preparation of reports and presentations.
• Suggest and create a report showing the results of the analysis:
• Support workstream in the creation of necessary slides.
• Participate in team discussions/meetings wherever possible.
• Participate in meetings, as required by the activities.
• Daily customer care and field-support activities related to Accommodation services and UN Booking Hub:
• Support on training and webinar delivery.
• Support for corporate communication activities.

You must have:

• Time management skills with an ability to plan.
• A good digital literacy.
• Good communication and proofreading skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with a certain degree of autonomy and/ or in a team.
• Fully committed and motivated to achieve the aims of the UN World Food Programme.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Working knowledge of French and additional UN official language is preferable (Arabic).

Internship Outcomes:

At the end of the assignment, you should be able to:

• Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office tools.
• Understand and effectively utilize communication and marketing tools, together with survey platforms.
• Update digital content through basic utilization of CMS.
• Improve knowledge and understanding of a variety of digital tools.
• Relate professionally and provide support to field colleagues via online tools.
• Organize global-based webinars and communications.

• A monthly stipend up to the maximum amount of US$1000 per month depending on the duty station of assignment.
