Opportunity description
Turquoise Mountain is offering an internship opportunity in Jewelry making and Design for beginners with the support of UNICEF and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ). The program aims to train beginners on the basics of jewelry making and design with a focus on traditional techniques using hand tools which in turn supports the trainees to engage in the labor market and find opportunities to generate income and develop their jewelry-making skills.
Duration:
The duration of the course will be five months, starting from 1/2/2020 until 6/30/2022
Eligibility criteria
- Ages between 18-24 years only
- The training is available to females only
- Jordanian or Syrian nationality
- Interest in learning the craft of woodworking and furniture design
