Walt Disney offers an internship opportunity at the field of Global Ethics & Compliance, Legal at Summer '22.
Duties & responsibilities
- You will assist a team of lawyers, paralegals, and professional support staff with administering the Company’s compliance program and partnering with business teams to ensure compliance with the Company’s Standards of Business Conduct and other compliance policies, as well as applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
- While you will have an opportunity to work and interact with the full global team, you will have a specific focus of assisting the members of the Global Ethics and Compliance Management Team responsible for providing compliance support for the Company’s North American businesses, including Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, 20th Century Studios, National Geographic, Disney+, Hulu, and many more.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Professionalism and maintenance of absolute confidentiality.
- Extremely well organized and attentive to detail and nuance.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Ability to perform legal research.
- Positive attitude, including willingness to assist the entire team when and as needed.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. law school [or International equivalent.]
- It's preferred to be interest in and/or study of anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws and/or trade compliance.
- Be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
