Disney offers an internship opportunity in Ad sales financing in the in the USA.
Duties & responsibilities
- Evaluate the financial impact of new advertising products and capabilities. Leverage data as a daily habit to elevate insights and trends.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: work closely with FP&A team to build out and maintain forecasting models for advertising sales inventory and P&L.
- Work within Excel Modeling to help provide strategic Ad Sales insights.
- Presentation & Decision support: Assist team with the process of creating presentations to support executive decision-making. Regularly present analytical insights to improve operational efficiency or evaluate revenue opportunities.
- Completing secondary market research to identify key trends and inform five-year strategic plan.
- Create ad hoc financial models and analyses to support decision making and strategic initiatives.
- Complete market research and track industry trends.
- Closely manage projects from beginning to end: manage day-to-day communication and provide updates to leadership team, identify key issues and manage data gathering.
- Develop executive-level presentations to summarize strategic initiatives for leadership team.
Eligibility criteria
- Current Junior, Rising Senior or Graduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related quantitative field of study.
- Interest in advertising, media entertainment, or technology industries.
- Technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling.
- Strong analytic mindset, ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- The ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Superb organizational skills, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Self-motivated problem-solver with a strong desire to contribute to the team and Company’s success.
Additional Information:
- Program Dates: Approximately May/June 2022 through early August 2022
- Must be available to work full time hours approximately 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Must provide your own housing and transportation to and from work.
