IbtikarKhana and the Ministry of Social Solidarity are offering internship opportunities for 8 months in Cairo, Egypt for university students to work with the Cancer Care Foundation social entrepreneurs and learn more about the entrepreneurship sector in Egypt.
About the Cancer Care Foundation:
Cancer Care Foundation offers a set of integrated support services and activities that improves the psychological and physical conditions of breast cancer patients and help them return to their pre-cancer quality of life while raising the awareness of the importance of psychological support and advocating for incorporating psychological support in the treatment protocols for cancer patients.
Duties & responsibilities
The intern should attend 3 times a week for 8 months.
Eligibility criteria
This internship is opened to Students or Graduates of Social Service, Psychology, Physical Therapy, or Fine Arts.

Ibtikar Khana aims to create an inclusive community of proactive and innovative critical-thinkers, problem-solvers and entrepreneurs, and provide them with the skills and knowledge needed to launch successful social ventures that create meaningful change and address the country’s most pressing challenges. The project features a transformative capacity-building framework comprised of coaching, mentoring, networking, and supporting access to financial and other resources. Ibtikar Khana is an innovation lab that combines a physical space and an interactive website to foster a culture of innovation and contribute towards effective channels of support for social entrepreneurs in Egypt.
