Al-Futtaim offers a job opportunity in Egypt as a sales supply & support specialist at IKEA. You will work to proactively integrate the retail ‘communicating & selling’ processes with the ‘supplying’ processes at the store level. To support the strong alignment between supply and demand needed to secure the agreed service level at the lowest cost. Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Customers:
- Assist the Sales and Supply Support Manager to administer the store range in accordance with the country range decision and store range classification.
- Support the sales team with a forecast alignment for strategic articles, by highlighting discrepancies between central and country/store forecasts.
- Follow up on the agreed range for the store to ensure it is stocked and/or offered in the store; and for highlighting to the concerned party the need for any corrective action.
Commercial:
- Secure goods availability for customers at the lowest possible costs in order to strengthen the main objectives of IKEA to be a leader in life at home.
- Monitor and follow up sale goals for key articles identified in the business agreement between IOS and retail sales.
- Work with the sales team and customer delivery centre to agree on the most commercial sell-out approach of discontinued articles offered via the central customer delivery channel in order to maximize sales and safeguard gross margin.
People:
- Support the creation of an environment where the IKEA culture is strong and where the diversity of the customers and co-workers is valued.
- Help and support colleagues in the store as well as share knowledge with them.
Financial:
- Reduce cost and work with more efficient tools and procedures to deliver the required.
- Ensure all actions contribute on the financial results of this area.
- Ensure the sales growth and to support the maintaining of the long-term profitability.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor of Commerce /Equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience is an asset preferably in sales and logistics.
- Ability to work with schedules in order to maintain deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to plan, implement and monitor the planned actions.
- To effectively work with others by developing trust and respect.
- Ability to prioritize and plan tasks to reach the targeted results.
