Opportunity description

Google offers a job opportunity in the US as a technical account manager, google cloud professional services that will draw on your experience and technical acumen to help customers successfully adopt Google Cloud products. This will give you a chance to regularly engage with various leadership of enterprises and a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team as well as travel domestically and internationally approximately 25% of the time.

Duties & responsibilities

You will responsible for:

  1. Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the implementation journey.
  2. Provide technical guidance and manage timelines and business transformation strategies.
  3. Advocate for customer needs and drive new feature development.
  4. Oversee multiple workstreams.
  5. Lead quarterly business reviews and executive sessions to better understand business and technical needs.
  6. Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with Support, Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering to ensure customer success.
  7. Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support initiatives to scale and improve.

Eligibility criteria

  • You must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, working with stakeholders and driving customer technical implementations.
  • Experience supporting customers in one of the following: cloud operations (launch and capacity planning, product release management), technical support, escalation management, IT consulting.
  • You prefer to have:
  • MBA or Master’s degree in a management, technical, or engineering field with 7 years of customer-facing experience.
  • Experience in application/workload migration to public cloud providers.
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Experience collaborating across business units internally and at large enterprises.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and management skills.
  • Understanding of one of the following:
  1. IT operations, database systems, and networking.
  2. IT security, application development, service architecture, and cloud-native application development.
  3. Hosted services, storage systems, or content delivery networks.
