Opportunity description
Aramex offers a job opportunity as a Business Development Manager in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for achieving significant financial growth from new and existing customers, by developing relationships with them and adapting Aramex solutions to customer requirements.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Obtain and follow up on leads through vertical marketing and field marketing activities that will help achieve targeted new revenue growth.
- Managing and growing existing businesses to achieve targeted revenues and ensure their sustainability.
- Understand and analyze the big picture of clients' business objectives in order to build the company's profile and act as an advisor to clients' business strategy.
- Translating customer strategies into targeted opportunities of value to Aramex.
- Identify and develop effective relationships with key contacts within target customer organizations in the respective regions, to ensure maximum leverage for Aramex.
- Collaborate with account managers to create a seamless customer experience.
- Implementing all aspects of sales operations and entering and updating all customer information using the CRM system.
- Communicate with industry peer group and other internal affiliates to implement best practices.
- Continuously research industry trends, marketing and sales best practices.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor's degree in business, commerce or any other related field.
- 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in the field of e-commerce.
- Fluent in English, preferably familiar with any additional language.
- Proven track record of achieving organizational and personal sales goals.
- Strong business acumen and significant industry knowledge.
- Ability to influence customers (internal and external) on issues affecting the business.
- Experience in consultative selling techniques and account planning skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with global and local leaders to develop the organization's short- and long-term goals.
- Skills of working within a team.
- Adaptability.
- Strong negotiation skills.
