Job Opportunity as a Freight Operations Supervisor at Aramex in the UAE

Aramex is offering a job opportunity as a Freight Operations Supervisor to join the team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. 

1. Support the CMTs by providing solutions and answers to customers’ needs.
2. Provide full support to the other functions and teams when needed.
3. Ensure received emails are attended to within the time-frame set by the local station.
4. Monitor the working schedule and attendance of the staff to ensure proper service during working hours.
5. Facilitate the flow of information horizontally and vertically.
6. Ensure shipments are handled properly, delays are handled promptly, and system is updated correctly on time.
7. Ensure following company freight policies and procedures.
8. Ensure all outgoing shipments are alerted and updated properly as per QOSS.
9. Ensure all incoming shipments are alerted (if needed) and updated properly as per QOSS.
10. Ensure all shipment documents are attached to the CargoWise as per QOSS.
11. Daily follow up on any pending shipment (export, import, transit, etc.) and updated are filled on the shipments record in CargoWise.
12. Coordinate and follow up with Brokerage team for prompt Clearance of shipments.
13. Coordinate with Dispatchers to ensure all shipments are picked up or delivered as per time frames agreed with CMTs and carriers.
14. Follow up with carriers that all shipments are received or dispatch as per set schedule.
15. Ensure to report all shipment details for transit shipment to concerned station.
16. Adhere to company HSSE, compliance and sustainability corporate policies.
17. Ensure proper handling for all shipments as per quality standards to avoid any discrepancy.

1. Bachelor Degree.
2. With UAE Driving License.
3. Full knowledge in AUH custom clearance system.
4. With full knowledge in Sea, Air, Land Freight.
5. Knowledge in Incoterms 2020.
6. Knowledge In temporary import/export.
7. English proficiency.
8. Good Knowledge of Word , excel and MS outlook.
9. Knowledge of Customs and other government approvals is a must.
10. Knowledge of Cargowise is an advantage.
