Aramex is offering a job opportunity as a Global Strategy Senior Leader to join the team and work in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Duties & responsibilities
Strategy:
- Independently lead and/or support part of the development of the five-year corporate strategy that allows to build strong competitive advantages and generate tangible impact.
- Identify new and emerging use cases, product development and innovation, and supporting in business case formulation.
- Continuously monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, emerging innovations, and trends.
- Drive deep quantitative and qualitative analyses, bringing new and differentiated perspectives, and supporting proposed recommendations.
- Collaborate with market intelligence team to provide insights and strategic direction recommendation and facilitation to regions/countries by benchmarking performance with the market and industry peers.
- Identify potential partners/targets in key markets to meet corporate objectives.
- Develop and manage business KPIs in order to facilitate analysis and reporting of performance against plans and budgets as well as strategic objectives.
- Translate long-term business/department goals into strategic initiatives across functions, regions, and products assisting in the development of implementation roadmaps, and driving the implementation of selected strategic initiatives.
- Build weekly/quarterly/annual performance reports for the business leaders as well as facilitate cross-functional performance reviews for leadership.
- Assist regional/country leaders and managers in driving and optimizing the improvement of key-value levers to provide the business a sustainable competitive advantage.
M&A and Post Merger Integration:
- Support the M&A team in post-merger integration-related activities and tasks.
- Lead mobilization of all functional teams, establish the governance framework, and work with the various functions/parties/stakeholders to design the integration model, integration plan, and support successful execution.
- Lead program management, including cross-functional collaboration, schedule development/management, risk management, and status reporting for each integration effort.
Eligibility criteria
- Relevant academic background (strategy, finance, business management), including MBA/Masters (Preferred).
- 4+ years of professional experience, especially working with the strategy, business development, or corporate development arm of a leading T&L company and/or a top-tier management consulting firm.
- Proficiency in developing analytical presentations and reports.
- Ability to analyze data provide insights and develop projections/forecasts in different areas of the business.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong talent for project management.
- Willingness to travel.
