Opportunity description

Al Futtaim is offering a job opportunity as a Healthcare Assistant to join the team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Support qualified practitioners, as directed in clinic preparation.
  2. Maintains nursing supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  3. Cleaning equipment and instruments as needed and directed by the medical team.
  4. Documenting daily checklists and recording room temperatures as required.
  5. Ensures basic room and equipment needs within the clinic are met
  6. Maintains continuity among nursing teams by communicating and logging files, follow up reports and internal administrative requirements.
  7. Provides basic assistance to the patients, providing directions, chaperone, escorting them to rooms/reception assisting them in mobility, ensuring safety, privacy and dignity at all times.
  8. Be aware of safe guarding policies, both local and national, and report should it become necessary.
  9. Respond to any emergency situations and immediately escalate to medical team, employing techniques in line with scope of practice and associated training as directed and in accordance with Al-Futtaim Health protocols and guidance. 

Eligibility criteria

  1. Diploma (preferably in Nursing or healthcare field).
  2. Fluency in English (speak, read and write).
  3. Arabic speaking skills will be an added advantage.
  4. Good Computer Literacy skills.
  5. Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  6. Inventory management.
  7. Personal protective Equipment.
  8. Safe Storage.
  9. Maintain Health and safety practices in the clinical area.
  10. Time management.
  11. Infection control management.

  1. Good written and oral communication skills.
  2. Good organization skills.
  3. Strong operational thinking skills.
  4. Customer service.
