Job Opportunity as a Project Manager at Chalhoub Group in the UAE

Chalhoub Group is offering a full-time job opportunity as a Project Manager in the field of 3D Developing, Designing and Delivery in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for 2021. 

1. Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects.
2. Anticipate and address problems that may arise Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and key team members of the project team.
3. Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
4. Determine the necessary resources needed to deliver projects according to schedule Ensure all appropriate permits and licenses from local authorities for construction works are in obtained and in order.
5.  Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
6. Ensure supplies and materials are ordered and delivered according to schedule.
7. Evaluate and develop risk management strategy.
8. Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.
9. Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly.
10.  Manage the project budget and estimate costs.
11. Oversee construction projects from beginning to end through detailed and accurate project planning.
12. Prepare reports regarding project progress.
13. Train and mentor construction team.

1. BSc/BA degree in interior design, Architecture, Engineering, or another related field.PMP or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
2. LEED or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
3. Extensive previous work experience managing construction projects.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction materials, equipment, systems and construction management processes.
5. Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources.
6. Outstanding communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills.
7. Excellent time management with capabilities to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager duties
8. Conflict resolution and conflict management experience.
9. Previous work experience in construction management or another similar role with strong and proven leadership skills.
10. Familiar with construction and project management software programs.
