Opportunity description
APCO Worldwide is offering a job opportunity as a Public Relations Account Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Duties & responsibilities
- Day to day client relationship management
- Nurture relationships with client partner agencies
- Supervise and mentor the junior staff on the day to day running of the account
- Develop and advocacy plans and presentations
- Implement PR strategies
- Participate in client’s plan presentations
- Execute plans and projects on behalf of clients, with assistance of juniors
- Monitor status and manage project to ensure on-time completion
- Assist with and oversee all project administrative duties including contract set-up and maintenance, and issue accurate client reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) with a high degree of accuracy
- Writing articles and briefs for MENA Managing Directors
- Writing new business proposals
Eligibility criteria
Requirements:
- Able to effectively use all available tools and resources to complete client tasks
- Solid understanding of strategic communications,
- Able to build relationships with media
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills
- Able to understand market insights and apply effectively
- Proficient in English and Arabic
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 4 years related work experience
- University Bachelor’s degree Business, International Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Equivalent
- Master’s degree will be a plus
- Prior client servicing experience
Work Conditions:
- The physical abilities needed to perform the duties of this position
- Some travel may be required
- Must reside in Dubai
- Willing to work additional hours
