Opportunity description
YouTube offers a job opportunity as a Senior Associate, Central Strategy and Operations, for the company’s U.S. Business division. In this role, you will work closely with Business leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives to support the people strategy and culture of the YouTube Business organization.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Leading, launching, and assigning global, strategic, and operational project workflows to help achieve organizational goals (e.g., career development, organizational design, talent mobility, site strategy, and process improvement).
- Developing comprehensive strategies to solve complex business challenges and address cross-functional stakeholder needs to improve operations.
- Identifying problems and issues across the organization, creating programs and processes to resolve them, and influencing cross-functional teams and leaders to implement them.
- Conducting data analysis and developing insights to help leadership identify opportunities, and communicating actionable insights to executive leadership by preparing and delivering implementation-ready materials.
- Working with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward, and implementing various recommendations.

Eligibility criteria
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity, or
- 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
- 2 years of experience consulting with technology or media companies.
- 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
Preferred:
- 4 years of experience in problem solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating results to executive management.
- Ability to work across teams, build relationships, and influence executives.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
Benefits:
- The base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000 to $167,000 + bonus + equity + other benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all locations in the United States. Individual pay is determined by job location and a range of additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
