Opportunity description

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is offering a full-time job opportunity as a Senior Sales Manager to join the team in Doha, Qatar. 

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Develop a sales strategy and plan by analyzing historical, current and future hotel/market trends.
  2. Create selling strategies to capture the maximum amount of revenue for Cluster properties.
  3. Solicit new business opportunities from international operators, travel agents and wholesalers through sound business practices.
  4. Prospect from various sources to expand account base.
  5. Nurture to maintain existing client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  6. Demonstrate professional presentation skills at Industry Trade Shows, Sales Events and Networking functions.
  7. Travel to conduct domestic and international sales calls as indicated by the annual Sales Budget and report on each trip via pre and post travel reports.
  8. Organize and participate in meet and greet for familiarization trips for clients and agents.
  9. Entertain domestic and international clients and conduct site inspections.
  10. Communicate all client information to the appropriate departments and conduct pre-arrival internal meetings when necessary.
  11. Prepare daily / weekly / monthly activity and fortnight production reports for the Director of Sales.
  12. Assist in pricing decisions and the development of the annual budget for assigned segment(s).
  13. Research to modify existing or develop new wholesale contracts as needed based on hotel and/or market conditions.
  14. Recommend and coordinate deployment of any promotions as may be necessary.
  15. Work with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies for the assigned segment(s).
  16. Attend and potentially present information for internal and external meetings as assigned.
  17. Execute additional projects as assigned by the Director of Sales.
  18. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned and the employee may be expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  2. Pro-active, self motivated, loves challenges.
  3. A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a 5 star Hotel.
  4. Excellent communication skills in Arabic.
  5. The ability to achieve sales targets and work in a highly pressurized environment.
  6. Passion to lead and a desire to succeed.
