Duties & responsibilities
- Set and execute the brand’s social media strategy across all of the brand’s social channels.
- Manage social coverage of live events, from the initial vision to execution.
- Grow the brand’s audience and engagement across all channels.
- Constantly monitor analytics and adjust content and approach to meet growth goals.
- Build out, execute and constantly refine Time Out Abu Dhabi’s social media strategy across the region.
- Provide regular feedback to editors and writers on performance – both successes and missed opportunities.
- Develop creative ways to grow followers and engagement, in collaboration with editorial and performance teams.
- Produce weekly performance reports for the Editor-in-Chief, Head of Content and Editorial Director.
- Ensure all content produced fits within Time Out’s brand guidelines.
- Work closely with Time Out’s design team to develop creative concepts for marketing materials and campaigns.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with Time Out’s commercial team and work with team leads to deliver sponsored content campaigns.
- Occasionally attend events out of hours to create social content.
Eligibility criteria
- At least three years’ experience in a social media role, ideally for an editorial / content organisation.
- Experience working with third party social media management platforms.
- Proven track record of growing an engaged social media audience, across an array of platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter.
- Experience working with social media management and analytics tools (CrowdTangle, Later, Social Studio, Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Creator Studio, etc).
- Experience analysing and interpreting data, and providing reporting.
- Able to adapt tone of voice to different platforms and audiences.
- Strong understanding of writing for digital, SEO best practice and digital marketing.
- Experience working with CMS and SEO tools.
- Take on responsibility for managing projects.
- Communication Skills.
