MBC is offering a Job Opportunity as a Software Development Engineer in Jordan.
Duties & responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain java application phases, code, and software.
- Defining application objectives and functionality.
- Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, as well as recommending changes to improve the established processes.
- Transform requirements into stipulations and identify production and non-production application issues.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Eligibility criteria
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in related field.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Proven hands-on Java Software Development experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Relational and non-Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, Mongo DB).
- Familiarity with a variety of designs, languages, and methodologies (e.g., SQL, ORM, Microservices, Agile and Scrum).
- Competence and comfort using multiple frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful.
- Ability to write clean, readable Java code.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
