Job Opportunity as an Arabic Sports Presenter at TRT Turkey

TRT Turkey is offering a job opportunity as a Sports Presenter who is fluent in the Arabic language to join the team in Istanbul, Turkey. 

1. Presents the channel's sports news output, either alone or with a colleague, with whatever that entails in terms of reading news items and lead‐ins, conducting live interviews and presenting unscripted coverage of stories as required.
2. Writes or edits material for programme scripts, bulletins and links, exercising editorial judgment, maintaining professional journalistic standards and adhering to station policy and legal and contractual guidelines.
3. Undertakes interviewing and reporting duties, under broad direction in both recorded and live situations, in studio or on location.
4. Prepares and presents bulletins, which may include assessing incoming copy, sub‐editing news copy and deploying the necessary resources.

1. Must have a proven track record in journalism with extensive knowledge of sports news.
2. Demonstrated first class news judgment.
3. Obvious aptitude for or experience of presentation.
4. Must be confident and assured on screen.
5. Must have a clear speaking voice and demonstrable confidence in front of the camera.
6. Should have the ability and confidence to ad‐lib confidently when required.
7. Should have the ability to conduct interviews with a wide‐range of interviews with flair and authority.
8. Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic.
9. Minimum of 5 years of experience.
